As a rider, trainer and owner I have always wanted to have the experience of training in Germany. Not only to be immersed in the culture, but to have the opportunity to spend an extended period of time training with a master. Changing the trajectory of a training curve does not happen overnight, and most 2-3 day clinics can get you going in the right direction, but not address some of the deeper training roadblocks. This program was born from the idea that there is an immense value in having an extended period of time to train with a master like Conrad Schumacher, and the reality that flying a rider and horse to Germany for training is financially prohibitive for most.

This program is designed to put you in front of a master for up to 7 days without over-exhausting horse and rider and to mimic a “normal” training week. Each rider will get 4 primary lesson and 3 “schooling” days  with Mr. Schumacher.  When the primary lesson has a break, Mr. Schumacher will observe and advise the horses schooling in the arena. (No more than 1 schooling horse will be in the arena during a primary lesson) This gives the rider flexibility to focus on a specific point of interest, take an easy day, or even give the horse a day off. For up to 7 days, you will be under the watchful eye of Mr. Schumacher. A chance of a lifetime.

Cost is $1360 for all 7 days. $680 is due now. $680 will be due March 12th. All fees are non-refundable UNLESS an appropriate alternate can be found for your spot. Checks made out to Raja Lahti McMahon, 5140 Gaylord Dr, San Diego, CA 92117

Stabling is $175 for 7 days, $200 for 8 days. Stabling made out to 22nd DAA.

A new training format will mean you get to watch even more rides. Details are available on the website Cost is $20/day or $100/7 days. Schedule and information will be posted online at BYO Lunch.
